An accurate Lasik is far more important than a “successful Lasik.”

I’m about to do a PRK repair on patient who had Lasik elsewhere 5 years ago. She was nearsighted, and was still “mildly nearsighted” afterwards, and the surgeon never did an enhancement. It was a so called “successful” procedure. Now, I am repairing this because the nearsightedness continues to bother her, and she is getting strain and night vision problems. She needed to be enhanced after her original procedure, and the lack of accuracy led her to have this done again. I’m going to make sure it’s done right!
